Terms and Conditions

Ordering
Once we receive your order and payment in full (including any applicable delivery charges) we will email you to confirm acceptance to the address provided on your order details. This will create a legally binding contract between us whether or not you receive the email. We reserve the right not to supply you or to cancel orders at our discretion. In the case of us cancelling your order, you will not be entitled to any compensation for disappointment suffered. The minimum age required when purchasing goods from this website is 18 years.

Right for you to cancel your order.
You may cancel your contract with us for the goods you order at any time up to the end of the seventh working day from the date you receive the ordered goods. You do not need to give any reason for cancelling your contract, although it would be appreciated if a reason was provided, and will not have to pay a penalty.

To cancel your contract you must notify us in writing or verbally over the telephone.

If you have received the goods before you cancel your contract then you must send the goods back to our contact address at your own cost and risk. If you cancel your contract but we have already processed the goods for delivery you must not unpack the goods when they are received by you and you must send the goods back to us at our contact address at your own cost and risk as soon as possible.

Once you have notified us that you are cancelling your contract, any sum debited to us from your credit card or debit card will be re-credited to your account as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of your order provided that the goods in question are returned by you and received by us in the condition they were in when delivered to you. If you do not return the goods delivered to you or do not pay the costs of delivery, we shall be entitled to deduct the direct costs of recovering the goods and the amounts to be re-credited to you.

Returns policy
You may return all unopened items purchased at Raisthorpe Manor within 14 days of the original delivery. We will pay the return shipping costs if the product is defective or the return is a result of our error. If the item is returned for any other reason you are responsible for the return shipping amount. No returns will be accepted after 14 days. We will credit you in the same manner as your original payment within 7 days of receiving the returned item.

Liability
If the goods we deliver are not what you ordered or are damaged or defective or the delivery is of an incorrect quantity, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us in by telephone or in writing at our contact address of the problem within 10 working days of the delivery of the goods in question.

If you do not receive the goods ordered by you within 30 days of the date on which you ordered them, we shall have no liability to you unless you notify us by telephone or in writing at our contact address of the problem within 40 days of the date on which you ordered the goods. If you notify a problem to us in this regard, our only obligation will be, at your option:-

(a) To make good any shortage or non-delivery - within 14 days
(b) To replace or repair any goods that are damaged or defective - within 14 days or
(c) To refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question in whatever way we choose.

Save as precluded by law, we will not be liable to you for any indirect or consequential loss, damage or expenses (including loss of profits, business or goodwill) howsoever arising out of any problem you notify to us under this condition and we shall have no liability to pay any money to you by way of compensation other than to refund to you the amount paid by you for the goods in question under the previous paragraph.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these terms and conditions is intended to limit any rights you might have as a consumer under applicable local law or other statutory rights that may not be excluded nor in any way to exclude or limit our liability to you for any death or personal injury resulting from our negligence.

We shall have no liability to you for any failure to deliver goods you have ordered or any delay in doing so or for any damage or defect to goods delivered that is caused by any event or circumstance beyond our reasonable control including, without limitation, strikes, lock-outs and other industrial disputes, breakdown of systems or network access, flood, fire, explosion or accident.

Dispatch - UK Mainland only
All completed orders received up to 2pm Monday-Friday (except Bank Holidays & Christmas week) shall be dispatched in the same day unless otherwise stated and are subject to stock availability. All completed orders received after 2pm Monday - Friday shall be dispatched the following working day unless stated otherwise and are subject to stock availability.

Dispatch - Overseas
We do accept orders for delivery overseas, but please contact us for a cost.

Minimum Order Charge
We do not have a minimum order charge.

Standard Service
All Deliveries on our standard service will be made Monday-Friday, 8am to 5pm. (Except Bank Holidays & Christmas week) and within mainland UK. Next working day service cannot be guaranteed due to unforseen circumstances. Please note due to adverse weather conditions we cannot guarantee next working day delivery to some parts of the UK.

We offer overseas deliveries including Northern Ireland and the Highlands but these destinations will incur an additional delivery charge - please ask us for a quote.

Some Larger, heavy weight orders cannot be guaranteed for a Next Working Day delivery due to packaging and other restraints.

Free Delivery
Orders over £150 inc VAT are subject to Free delivery, in mainland UK only. Free delivery does not apply to Highlands & Offshore locations or specified Saturday AM deliveries.

Tracking
Once we have dispatched your order we shall email you to advise you of your tracking number. Using the link on either our Home Page or on the email we recommend you check at regular intervals to view the status of your delivery to avoid any potential redelivery costs.

Attempted Deliveries
In the event that a delivery is attempted on the scheduled day and there is no one available to receive and sign for the consignment, the courier will leave a card. This card will offer you alternative means by which to receive your delivery. It is vitally important that you quickly contact the delivery depot to re-arrange a time that is suitable to you.

If you arrange for a re-delivery at a time convenient and if the re-delivery is made at the scheduled time and there is no-one to receive and sign for the consignment then you may be required to pay for the cost of the re-delivery attempt. The undelivered consignment will be held at your local depot for a further 3 days, but if the depot is not contacted within this time frame the consignment will be sent back to us and you may incur further charges for this delivery back to our warehouse.

For your convenience we can offer the following two facilities:

Delivery to an address of your choice
If it is more convenient for you to have your goods delivered to an address other than the cardholder address, then please state clearly at the time of order the delivery address required. Eg your neighbour or your work address.

Delivery without a signature
With your written consent we are able to arrange for your delivery to be left without a signature if it is not possible for you to be at the address on the stated delivery day.

This written consent should be specified at checkout by completing the 'Special Delivery Instructions' box after accepting our Terms & Conditions or alternatively by sending us an email or fax with the details including your order reference number.

It must clearly state the address and the exact site at which you wish for the your order to be left. (Please take into consideration the size of the items ordered).

By providing this information it will act as your written consent for us to deliver without a signature and receipt of your order and we cannot accept any responsibility for loss or damage to your goods once they have been delivered.

At any time you will be able to check on the progress of your order using the link listed above so you will know when your delivery has taken place.

Please note: Drivers are not insured to carry goods up flights of stairs. Goods delivered to flats may be left in the lobby area.

Any damaged or incomplete deliveries should be reported to us within 48 hours.

Please ensure that your goods are inspected prior to signature for loss or damage and that any arrangements for the fitting of your floor coverings are made after the delivery has been made.

Availability
All orders for products are subject to stock availability.

Product Descriptions
Care has been taken with descriptions of all items shown on the website but due to limitations of photography, colours of the goods you receive may differ slightly to those displayed on your monitor. All dimensions and weights given are deemed to be accurate. However, if you have any queries please call or email prior to placing an order. If you are dissatisfied with an item you may of course return it. (Subject to conditions of returns.)

Entire Agreement
These terms and conditions, together with our current website prices, delivery details, contact details and privacy policy, set out the whole of our agreement relating to the supply of the goods to you by us. Nothing said by any sales person on our behalf should be understood as a variation of these terms and conditions or as an authorised representation about the nature or quality of any goods offered for sale by us. Save for fraud or fraudulent representation, we shall have no liability for any such representation being untrue or misleading.
